“Practical Approaches for unlocking supplier development and localization economic opportunities”

Industries face the challenge of meeting different levels of Localization required by public authorities and state governed companies when participating in public procurement tenders or for securing regulated licenses and permits. Localization is an important policy tool for industrial development and is viewed by regulators as a key instrument for assisting in growing economies and their local manufacturing sectors. The supply chain localization requirements and practices are often in conflict with some procurement and supply chain trends, leading to greater centralization of efforts and management. Attend our workshop to learn what tools procurement and supply chain organizations turn to, in an effort to move toward localization, given this context.
