“A practical guide to understanding,  unpacking and delivering on the business case for Supplier Diversity”

This course is geared towards assisting corporate staff with an understanding of the supplier diversity concept, its application, and guidelines for formulating, implementing and improving on your own supplier diversity strategy.  After completing this course, participants will be able to evaluate and apply Supplier Diversity activities appropriately in their supply chain functions and broader organisation.  Case studies will include practical example of how to go about establishing a well-defined Supplier Diversity plan.  This training programme will be delivered on-line via the SASDC Supplier Diversity Academy Zoom facility in 6 sessions of 2 hours 30 minutes each on the following dates and the programme will cover the following:

• Understand different Supplier Diversity development levels and the current level of your corporation

• Examining the various strategy elements when developing and implementing Supplier Diversity
  
• Compile a Supplier Diversity framework for developing your own programme
• Creating internal capacity for successful Supplier Diversity implementation
• Understand the ‘how to’ of implementing effective Supplier Diversity
• Enabling procurement for successful supplier diversity outcomes
• Managing supplier relationships and developing the right supplier capability
• Establish a means to evaluate Supplier Diversity performance
