Preferential Procurement Regulations (2017)

The 2011 Preferential Procurement Regulations issues by National Treasury in terms of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) of 2000, have been repealed and replaced by the gazetted Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2017 (PPR Regulations 2017), which came into full force and effect on 1 April 2017. This implies that the procurement of goods and services by any state owned organization will be subject to the PPR Regulations (2017).
